SmallRig NATO Top Handle for RED and DSLR Cameras 1961 is designed for handheld use and provides multiple accessory holes for RED cameras and any other DSLR cameras. The top handle could be secures on or released from camera easily via the NATO Rail 1134 included in the package. The height of the handle is only 63mm which is better for low angle shooting and make your setup low profile. Multiple 1/4-20”and arri 3/8”threaded holes are provided for accessories such as magic arm 2070 and 2115. The handle features a rubber cushion to prevent the monitor screen from scratching. The 3/8”arri hole in front is able to attach ARRI extension if more length are needed. The smooth wave shape provides a better and more comfortable holding experience.

I would buy this in a second. I can't stand the original top handle for the Scarlet W. I think the tightening knob should be a little more sturdy. It looks a little plastic now. Personally I'd use it on a nato rail directly connected to the Red body, instead of needing to also get a top plate. My hope is that this handle when attached only to a nato rail, will be as short as the original, so it doesn't block the view of the monitor. Other than that, please hurry, I want to buy this now!
I like the design but I think that you should put a hole for a 15mm rod just at the short version.
It would allow to use the short part of the handle with an EVF mount
Much better than the original RED handle, the QR system makes the difference
