SmallRig Baseplate (Arri Style) for RED DSMC2 Cameras 1998
Ultra-compact quick release baseplate designed for RED DSMC2 cameras (Scarlet-W/ Epic-W/ Raven/ Weapon). With integrated Arri rosettes and dual rod clamp, you can conveniently transform the rig into shoulder mounting or tripod mode.

User Scenarios
Compatible with Tripod: Mount the camera on Baseplate 1998 directly, then add a Dovetail 1501 to the setup. This camera rig can sit on tripods.
15mm LWS System: Insert 2 15mm rods into the dual rod clamp. Matte box, follow focus or lens support bracket can be mounted on the dual rod.
Shoulder Mount (Standard): Release camera with Baseplate 1998, Dovetail 1501 from tripod, add a Memory Foam Shoulder Plate 2057 to the bottom.
Shoulder Mount (with External Battery): If you want to place the camera in front instead of on top of shoulder, add a Dual Rod Clamp 1943 to the rear of Baseplate 1998, then another set of rods, and Memory Foam Shoulder Plate Kit 2077. Then mount external battery or counterweight on top of shoulder pad. This setup is ideal for heavy duty.
